I am a licensed social worker with over 25 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings, including outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatry as well as crisis management. I received my Bachelor’s and Masters’s Degree from the University of Michigan, and have also earned a Certificate in Gerontology. I have had additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy. My experience includes working with families, children and adolescents, couples, adults and older adults. Issues addressed in therapy include: coping with grief and loss, coping with chronic and acute medical issues, relationship issues, improving communication in families and couples, working with depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma and stress reactions.
My goal is to provide compassionate and supportive psychotherapy to assistclients in resolving issues and improving quality of life.
